1. Introduction

Ether's (SIREN 879 425 049), operating alexandrecorne.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, and stores personal data of visitors interacting with the Site. This policy describes how that data is handled and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK-GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable privacy laws. By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

alexandrecorne.com is a personal landing page. It does not sell products, run a newsletter, host a database of user accounts, or operate analytics pixels. Its only interactive feature is a contact form.

2. Data We Collect

2.1. Data you provide voluntarily

• Contact form — the name, email address, and message you submit on /contact are transmitted via FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) and delivered to the inbox [email protected].

2.2. Data collected automatically

• Cloudflare Access (during the Site's private phase) — your email address is collected when you authenticate via one-time PIN. The session is held in the cookie CF_Authorization for the duration of the authenticated session.
• Cloudflare hosting logs — standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, country) processed by Cloudflare for security, rate-limiting, and performance. Retention follows Cloudflare's own policy.

2.3. What we do NOT collect

No tracking cookies. No analytics scripts (no Plausible, no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel). No advertising trackers. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting.

3. Cookies & Browser Storage

The Site does not set any first-party tracking cookies. The only cookie used is CF_Authorization, set by Cloudflare Access during the private phase, strictly necessary to grant access to authenticated visitors.

Google Fonts (loaded from fonts.googleapis.com) may set technical cookies on Google's domain when fonts are fetched. This is outside our control; see Google's privacy policy.

4. Third-Party Services

Data is shared with the following providers, strictly for the purposes described:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, CDN, and Cloudflare Access (identity provider for the gated phase). Privacy policy
• FormSubmit — contact form delivery. The form payload (name, email, message) transits through FormSubmit before landing in our inbox. Privacy policy
• Google Fonts — typeface delivery via fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Privacy policy

We never sell your personal data. We never share it with advertisers.

5. International Data Transfers

Some providers (FormSubmit, Cloudflare for some services, Google) are based outside the EEA/UK. When data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on adequate safeguards including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent mechanisms.

6. Data Retention

• Contact form messages — retained in our email inbox for as long as needed to process and follow up on your inquiry, then archived or deleted upon request.
• Cloudflare Access session data — cleared when you log out or the session expires.
• Cloudflare logs — per Cloudflare's retention policy.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR / UK-GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability.
• Decide the fate of your data after death (France — Article 40-1, Loi Informatique et Libertés).
• Lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France) or your local data protection authority.

Under CCPA/CPRA (California residents): the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell or share), and non-discrimination.

The Site is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. The contact form is delivered over an encrypted channel. The private phase is gated by Cloudflare Access (one-time PIN over email).
